Ida Valley Project

The Ida Valley Project consists of one granted exploration licence covering some 92km² and one exploration application licence covering some 36km² located approximately 245km NW of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

Ida Valley ProjectThe Project covers a typical Yilgarn Craton calcreted drainage system between Lake Barlee and Lake Raeside. Previous exploration has been fragmentary and systematic exploration has the potential to delineate economic mineralisation. Work to date has identified sites favourable for mineralisation, for example drainage has been modified around basaltic rocks at Dead Camel Hill, providing a potential trap-site for mineralisation.

The target mineralisation type for the Ida Valley Project is the Yeelirrie deposit, which is hosted by valley calcretes lying along the drainage channel of a broad flat valley in the northern part of the Yilgarn Craton. A number of uranium occurrences are reported within the Project area.
